LINDSAY FREED FROM JAIL

Lindsay Lohan has been released on bail after appealing agaist the decision to send her to jail for nearly a month.

The actress was earlier led from court in handcuffs and remanded in custody until October 22 by Los Angeles superior Court Judge Elden S Fox after failing a mandatory drug test. But a different judge-Patricia Schnegg-later set bail at $300,000 after the 24-year-old's lawyer filed an appeal.
